Livingstoni cichlids is a family of cichlid fish (cichlids). The name is similar to the British evangelist David Livingstone. The body is slender, with large head relative to its body. 20 Cm or 8 inch reach the length. This is the longest Malawi cichlids, I think. The life span is quite long for a medium size cichlid or 18 years.
The color of his fish is brown with Brown stain like rock. This fish has ability to camouflage because this fish skin with rocky pattern is similar. We can see thin gold color at the edge of the fin. The male is coloured than the female.
The behavior is so aggressive, so is this fish not good for Community fish. This fish is best kept in the same types of containers. You will harass other fish in particular small fish. Livingstoni has rarely hunting method. It act as small fish dies, to win. If small fish close its reach, it will attack the small fish.

How to care it:
Make a home comfort for them with 70 gallon tanks. Set Bogwood, PVC pipe, rock for hiding place. Also, you put sand and substrate such as its nature in Africa. Facilitate the tanks with water filters, aerators and water heater.
Kennel Name:
The cichlids are polygamy fish; Therefore, you may receive several women for a male. Hold since young. Females hold eggs at the mouth up to three weeks or 21 to 24 days. The female lays typically 100 eggs in each race.

Feeding
Livingstoni is an omnivore, the protein-rich food need. Feed with small fish, Tubifex, insect larvae, krill, frozen foods and pellets. Livingstoni may also spinach, peas, lettuce and Courgette.
